Environmental Specialist
CHEMISTRY & CLIMATE
SCIENCES AT BATES COLLEGE
I am an Environmental Specialist candidate with hands-on experience building compliance programs, tracking permit requirements, and executing site-level monitoring. Combining a strong background in chemistry with geospatial capabilities, I perform water quality analysis, hazardous substance evaluations, and spatial auditing under federal, state (Maine DEP), and local standards. My field experience ranges from conducting stream sampling with the Androscoggin Watershed Council and performing site compliance audits across 15 municipal parks with the Maine Water District to authoring technical stormwater assessment reports and interactive story maps for regulatory working groups. I specialize in leveraging tools like ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, Trimble GPS, and laboratory instrumentation to deliver actionable compliance frameworks and site-level sustainability solutions.
